A 6-year-old boy and his family are particularly grateful for their loyal family dog, Bella, who jumped in to help protect them from a charging bear. Home-security-camera footage captured the chaotic moment a bear was running through the family’s yard in Connecticut, with a young boy standing in the driveway, when Bella intercepted the bear, biting it in the backside.
ABC 7 Chicago shared the viral footage from homeowner Jeffrey Tazzara on Instagram. Tazzara told ABC in an interview that the bear appeared to be charging at his son when his husky ran onto the scene and chased the bear away.
