WATCH: Young Girl Spots a Bear in Her Family’s Kitchen

There has been a lot of black-bear activity in Colorado this summer, including four bear attacks over the course of just one week. KOAA News5 recently shared home-security camera footage of a young girl walking into her family’s kitchen and spotting a black bear, which was sniffing around and looking for food. Thankfully, the girl’s father was right there, and he showed the bear the door . . . then closed it.

“A family in Colorado Springs got a big surprise when a bear walked right into their kitchen!” wrote KOAA News5. “[Nerissa England] shared the video with us, showing the bear inside the house, snatching the trash can and then leaving.”
