“Don’t come to Yosemite right now!!!” she wrote in an Instagram post. “Trees are falling everywhere.”
Mildenberger shared a video of a large branch snapping off a tree’s main trunk thanks to a heavy load of snow. Someone had been walking nearby shortly before the branch snapped and fell.
It’s not just the icy roads and falling tree branches that should give potential visitors pause. Travel photographer Mihir Bhatt shared a video showing an avalanche in Yosemite from Thursday.
