A lighthearted moment turned terrifying when a man got struck by lightning while filming his golf partner struggling with a stuck golf cart. The incident occurred on a golf course in Cincinnati, Ohio. ABC News reports that Chris Schiavone had sought shelter from rain under a tree as he took a video of his friend, who was helping another person push a golf cart out of some mud.

Schiavone was laughing and filming as he watched the comical scene unfold in front of him, but then a bolt of lightning struck him. He survived the strike, saying he was “very lucky and blessed” to be alive.
ABC News reports that Schiavone lost feeling throughout his body and temporarily lost his hearing after the strike.
