As the world watches the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, The Olympic Games is throwing it back to some notable moments from competitions past on social media. A recent post shared footage of Daniela Ulbing, an Austrian snowboarder, dodged a squirrel during a slalom-snowboarding run in the 2018 Winter Olympics, which took place in South Korea.

“Daniela Ulbing sidesteps . . . a squirrel! And still takes the win in this parallel giant slalom at #Pyeongchang2018,” wrote The Olympic Games in its post.
