Two mountain bikers enjoying a good run at Whistler Mountain Bike Park in British Columbia, Canada, nearly ran into a couple of black bears hanging out on the trail. One of the mountain bikers, joseballesteross__, recently shared his helmet-cam footage of the moment on Instagram.
“Incredible,” he wrote. “Los osos [bears] en @whistlerbikeprk.”

While no one should be surprised that there are bears in Whistler, it was clearly quite a shock for these mountain bikers to come upon the animals on a trail while riding at a high speed. Thankfully, they saw the bears with enough time to stop and swerve. The bears ran off, probably equally startled to see the humans barreling toward them.
