A trail camera set up in an Ojai, California neighborhood caught not one but two wild animals in the wee hours of February 9th. One animal was a cougar, and the other was intimidating enough to scare the large feline away. What do you think it was?

“I have several trail cameras set up on my street since we are a private dead end road,” wrote Susan Pellegrino Hornbeck in her post to the Facebook group Trail Camera Photos and Videos. “I get a lot of videos with wildlife but recently this Mountain Lion has been around. This is so funny because the skunk is chasing off this Mountain Lion.”

This cougar must have had a bad experience with a skunk in the past, because it clearly does not want to mess around with the skunk . . . and the skunk knows it.
