A Santa Monica, California, woman spotted an animal in her backyard, so she used the zoom on her camera to get a better look. It was a mountain lion, and it was staring right at her.

“Yikes! A woman in Santa Monica zoomed in to get a better look at a creature in her backyard . . . and found a mountain lion looking right back at her,” wrote KHOU 11 News in an Instagram post sharing Anna Redmond’s video.
