The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) has unveiled the winners of its 2025 Garden for Wildlife photo contest, and the photos are incredible. NWF says thousands of photographers from around the world submitted entries to the contest, but only one photo could win the grand prize.
NWF said this year’s contest focus was on Small Space Gardens and Habitat, which attracted many examples of how small garden spaces attract wildlife. The grand prize went to Kellie Carter, whose image of a great horned owl in her friend’s garden, framed by the Aurora Borealis.
