Sloth bears and tigers coexist in India and parts of Nepal, but can you imagine seeing these two animals face off against one another? Footage from Aditya Kalele shows an unexpected moment—the moment a sloth bear came face to face with a tiger and didn’t back down. The sloth bear vs. tiger showdown attracted over 1.3 million views.

“It was a sudden jackpot,” Kalele wrote in an Instagram post sharing part one of his footage. “Here comes the sloth bear and within 30-40 seconds [a] tiger, [my] excitement can be justified in the original video/audio [where I] keep repeating ‘tiger tiger tiger tiger.'”
