“Wild, unexpected, and pure magic.” That’s how Matthew Nicholson describes seeing two wild Canadian lynx during a recent snowboarding trip to Alberta, Canada. The rare animal sighting was the “icing on the birthday cake” for Nicholson, who was celebrating his birthday.
“POV: You’re already having the best birthday trip ever . . . and then this happens,” wrote Nicholson in his Instagram post sharing footage of the lynx. “We were snowboarding at Lake Louise, when we suddenly spotted wild Canadian lynx right on the slopes. Just casually strolling through like they owned the place. I already thought this trip couldn’t get any better . . . and then we saw this.”
