You have probably noticed the logo on Google’s homepage occasionally transforms into something new. From historic events to celebrations, Google likes to change things up on its landing page. The latest change is a theme focused on the Appalachian Trail with an interactive graphic.
The Appalachian Trail, also simply called the AT, is around 2,190 miles and runs from Georgia to Maine. Thousands attempt the entire trail each year, but only a quarter complete the journey. Besides thru-hikers, plenty of people hike sections or even visit the path for the day.
Many of these facts are front and center on Google right now by clicking play on the logo.
Check out the AT theme while it’s still up.
Are you looking for a great place to visit along the Appalachian Trail? These trail towns should be on the top of your list.
