The words “adorable” and “traffic jam” aren’t usually in the same sentence, but, in this case, they have to be. That’s because an adorable animal recently caused a very mildly inconvenient traffic jam in Australia, and nobody’s mad about it.
Kayleigh Brown shared footage of a wombat in the road, blocking her vehicle. She used the opportunity to educate the online community about what people should do it they ever accidentally hit one of these Australian marsupials.

“If you ever hit a kangaroo or wombat, please stop if it’s safe and check the pouch,” Brown wrote. “Many females carry a joey, and even if the mother doesn’t survive the collision, the baby inside sometimes does.”
Thankfully, in this case, Brown saw the wombat and waited until it crossed safely to continue driving.
