The Cocodona 250 just wrapped up for 2026, and the winner’s story is capturing hearts and boggling minds. Ultrarunner Rachel Entrekin finished first, wiping the entire field with her record-breaking time of 56:09:48.
The 2026 win is Entrekin’s third title in this event. In 2024, she won the women’s field, and in 2025, she won the women’s field a second time, while also setting a female course record and finishing fourth overall. This year, she beat everybody.

“Cocodona has a Queen and her name is @rachel_entrekin,” wrote @Cocodona250 in a celebratory Instagram post. “[. . .] Rachel didn’t just come back to Cocodona to win her third title. She came to test her limits and see what’s truly possible on this course. Her goal was to go sub-60 hours, and in doing so, she delivered one of the most dominant performances in ultrarunning history.”
The Cocodona 250 is a 250-mile ultramarathon across parts of Arizona, including Black Canyon, Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, and Flagstaff.
