The Comedy Pet Photography Awards were established a few years ago, by the same folks who run the Comedy Wildlife Photo Awards. Both series put photographers work on display that captures animals – domestic and wild respectively – in funny poses and awkward moments.

The winners of the contest will be announced on August 11.
