‘Level 100 Camo’: See Whooo’s Hiding in the Trees (Video)

“The trees will tell their secrets to those who tune in . . .” wrote Andy Schmucker in a social-media post sharing a video of trees (and a little something else). As Schmucker zooms in on the trees, there’s a barred owl staring right at him. It’s a beautiful reminder that in nature, there’s always more than meets the eye.

“Level 100 Camo,” wrote Schmucker in the caption. “I’ve been fortunate to have had a handful of different owl interactions, but this one might have been the most special. [. . .] We observed each other for 3 or 4 minutes. I told the owl ‘thank you’ and we were on our way.”

“My jaw dropped,” wrote another.
