Helicopter Pilot Spots Grizzly Bear 7,000 Feet up Snowy Peak

Russ Robinson was flying his helicopter in Alaska, when, suddenly, he and his girlfriend spotted something they didn’t expect to see 7,000 feet up on a snowy mountain peak: A grizzly bear. The couple couldn’t believe their eyes, and their video is going viral online.

A follow-up video also shows what appears to be the bear’s den, suggesting the grizzly bear had hibernated on the side of the peak and recently woke up. Whoa.
