The Good News Network shared the story of Reggae, a 33-year-old Atlantic harbor seal living at The New England Aquarium. Initially, the aquarium’s manager admitted that the toy was given to Reggae as a form of enrichment.

When speaking to the Associated Press, Rebekah Miller shared that these enrichment toys are “a great way to challenge our animals.” Additionally, she shared that they “really allow them to use those problem-solving skills that they have.”

While Miller expected Reggae to be enriched, I doubt she expected the cuteness overload that came with it. The New England Aquarium shared a video montage of Reggae with his duckie online, and the video instantly went viral. Multiple clips clearly show how much this aquarium seal loves his duckie.

The clips range from Reggae giving the duck a little head pat, to having it rest on his stomach while he floats around in the water. He even appears to do happy little flipper shakes and smile whenever his rubber duckie is presented to him.
