2026 Entegra Coach Arc 18C review: small footprint, serious inspection work
The short 2026 Entegra Arc 18C fits a wet bath into 17 feet 10 inches, but bed length, MSRP conflicts, suspension hardware and chassis year need careful checking.

Bottom line
The 2026 Entegra Coach Arc 18C is aimed at the buyer who values a genuinely short van more than a permanent bed. It measures 17 feet 10 inches, has a 54-by-72-inch convertible bed, carries 21 gallons of fresh water and puts a cassette-toilet wet bath at the rear. That is a useful amount of self-containment in a footprint shorter than many pickups.[1]
The compromises are not subtle. The only bed is six feet long and must be made from the sofa. The 4.75-gallon cassette is small, the portable induction burner competes with other 120-volt loads, and the standard coach uses two AGM batteries, a 1,000-watt inverter and a 2,800-watt gasoline generator rather than a large lithium system.[1] Two people considering extended travel should try the bed, bathroom, storage and power routine rather than judging the van from an open-door showroom tour.
There is also real buying homework. Entegra's archived 2026 page does not show a manufacturer starting MSRP, while a secondary specification guide lists $145,050.[1][2]
Sampled dealers display MSRPs from $158,430 to $159,173 before discounts.[4][5][6] Those figures are not interchangeable. Require the factory window sticker and an itemized out-the-door quote for the exact VIN.
Best fit: one or two travelers who want easy parking, a gasoline chassis, an onboard wet bath, a generator and a simple short-trip base camp.
Skip it if: you need separate beds, a bed longer than 72 inches, a dry bath, four-season proof rather than tank-heater marketing, standard lithium power, large gear storage, or room for two people to move around without coordinating.
Official 2026 specifications
The figures below apply to the 2026 Entegra Coach Arc 18C. Entegra's year-specific page was preserved by the Internet Archive on September 14, 2025 and retrieved for this review on October 21, 2026. The live family page now describes the 2027 Arc, so it is useful only as a rolling-family check, not as authority for a 2026 purchase.[1][18]

| Electrical service | 30A detachable shore cord | Test polarity, GFCIs and charging |
| Hitch receiver | 3,500 lb. | Actual towing margin depends on loaded weights and GCWR |
Entegra also listed heated holding tanks, a water filter, exterior shower, side screen, backup camera, blind-spot monitoring, lane keeping, forward-collision warning with active braking and other driver aids.[1] Treat those as manufacturer equipment statements. Confirm every feature operates on the vehicle being sold.
Payload is an exact-coach question
Subtracting an internet “dry weight” from GVWR is not a substitute for the federal occupant-and-cargo label. Options, fuel, water, people, tools and dealer accessories change the result. Photograph the label and weigh the ready-to-travel van by axle. Respect GVWR, both GAWRs, tire ratings and GCWR at the same time.
The rear bath, generator, tanks and helper-spring hardware put several inspection priorities near or behind the rear axle. An owner of an earlier Arc described a missing bushing in the Hellwig helper-spring arrangement after two trips and later planned to replace the setup with air springs.[7] That is one report, not a defect rate, but it justifies inspecting both sides for matching parts, torque marks, cracked brackets, damaged bushings and uneven ride height.
Floorplan and daily-use analysis
Seating and sleeping
The 18C uses a 54-inch sofa opposite a 27-inch bench, with a movable table. The sofa becomes a 54-by-72-inch bed.[1][5] The layout gives one or two people a reasonable daytime conversation area, but the bed width is narrower than a residential queen and its length is exactly six feet. Taller sleepers should not assume diagonal sleeping will be comfortable for two.
Convert the bed yourself several times. Check whether cushions stay level, whether a topper is needed, and where bedding goes during the day. With the bed made, confirm a sleeper can reach the bathroom, exits and controls. Look underneath for pinched wiring, loose fasteners and floor damage.
Entegra's 2026 page says seat belts are provided for the cab and “select cab locations,” language that does not establish a specific child-restraint position or comfortable passenger capacity.[1] Match every claimed travel seat to a labeled belt and the manuals. Do not count an unbelted bench as a travel seat.
Kitchen, water and bathroom
A three-cubic-foot refrigerator is enough for careful short-trip provisioning, not residential-style storage. The portable induction cooktop can free counter space when stowed, but it needs a suitable powered surface when used. Ask the seller to run it with the microwave off and then demonstrate which loads the 1,000-watt inverter actually serves. Never assume the air conditioner or cooktop runs normally from the AGM bank.
The 21-gallon fresh tank and 24-gallon gray tank favor conservative showers. The SHOWERMI$ER can recirculate cool water while waiting for hot water, but it does not enlarge either tank.[1] Inspect the recirculation valve, Aqua-Hot plumbing, water-filter housing and all accessible fittings. Fill, pressurize, drain and sanitize the system during inspection.
The cassette toilet changes the dump routine. Remove and reinstall the cassette, examine its seal and wheels, confirm the level indicator, and ask where it may lawfully be emptied. A 4.75-gallon cassette needs more frequent service than a conventional black tank, which may be a benefit for some travelers and a nuisance for others.
Climate, electricity and storage
Tank heater pads do not prove the entire water system is freeze-protected. Exposed lines, valves, the cassette bay and the Aqua-Hot installation all matter. Obtain the temperature limits and winterization procedure in writing, and inspect for prior freeze damage.
The generator gives the 18C a practical path to air-conditioning away from hookups, at the cost of noise, maintenance and fuel. Start it cold, then run the A/C and another controlled load while watching voltage and frequency. Confirm the fuel pickup behavior and service access. Test shore, alternator, solar and generator charging separately.
Storage is constrained by the short body and rear bath. Bring the actual folding chairs, hoses, power cord, bedding and luggage you plan to carry. Check whether items remain restrained in a hard stop and whether wet utility gear must share interior storage.
What independent reviewers and owners report
Independent evidence is limited, especially for the exact 2026 coach. RV Insider's indexed exact-model pages showed zero submitted Arc 18C owner reviews during research, so this article does not manufacture a consensus from star fields.
A 2025 Arc owner posted a detailed Class B Forum thread about one missing helper-spring bushing. The owner identified the Arc as the same basic platform as the Jayco Comet and described the raised rear suspension, a spacer arrangement and difficulty obtaining a replacement without a dealer visit. Other members discussed bump stops, SumoSprings and air bags; the owner ultimately favored Airlift bags.[7] This is meaningful first-person evidence for an inspection target, but it does not show how often the condition occurs or prove that 2026 production is identical.
Ruby’s Adventures Unplugged published an independent show-floor tour of a 2025 Arc 18C. It is useful for seeing the room around the sofa, kitchen and wet bath, but it is not a road test, overnight evaluation or 2026 equipment audit.[8] An RV.com article by Kraig Becker praised the compact size and equipment, but the retained evidence did not establish hands-on testing; treat it as independent editorial context rather than owner experience.[9]
The fair conclusion is narrow: the layout is visible and the suspension report is worth checking, but there is not enough independent 2026 evidence to estimate reliability, ride quality or warranty satisfaction. A long pre-delivery inspection matters more than any broad reputation claim.
MSRP, purchase path and current new asking prices
PRICE SNAPSHOT: 2026-10-21 00:23 UTC. These are advertised figures, not completed-sale prices, appraisals or out-the-door offers. Inventory and incentives can change immediately.
Entegra's archived official 2026 page did not publish a starting MSRP.[1] RV Guide, a secondary database, displayed $145,050 as standard MSRP.[2] Dealer pages for configured units displayed materially higher MSRPs, which may include mandatory packages, options, destination or dealer-fed data. The mismatch cannot be resolved without each unit's window sticker.
| Seller | Exact unit / stock | Location | Advertised price | Displayed MSRP / notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blue Compass RV | New 2026 Arc 18C / retained indexed listing | verify with seller | $77,995; $79,555 including listed document/prep fees | $158,430; direct page blocked during archive[6] |
| Bob Hurley RV | New 2026 Arc 18C / M7509 | Tulsa, OK | $87,995 | $159,173; VIN 3C6LRVBGXTE151330[5] |
| General RV | New 2026 Arc 18C / 345752 | Jacksonville, FL | $99,995 | $159,173; marked sold; VIN 3C6LRVBGXTE156754[4] |
The spread is not a depreciation curve or national market range. One page was sold, one source was available only through indexed evidence, and discounts may depend on financing or location. Get a written buyer order listing vehicle price, mandatory package, optional solar, freight, preparation, documentation, tax, title, registration, finance incentives and warranty start.
Use Entegra's official dealer locator for authorized purchase and service paths.[3] Before traveling, request the 17-character VIN, coach serial number, current odometer, window sticker, chassis model year, production date, open-recall status and confirmation that the unit is physically present.
Used-market snapshot
The Arc is a young model, but at least three numeric used asks were available across more than one seller. All were 2025 coaches rather than 2026 examples. That is normal scarcity for a current model year, and it makes condition and exact build more important than averaging.
| Seller / marketplace | Unit | Location / stock | Mileage | Ask at snapshot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chesaco RV | Used 2025 Arc 18C | Stuart, FL / 10620-A | 3,265 | $83,989[11] |
| Camping World | Used 2025 Arc 18C | Longmont, CO / 1010521P | 9,128 | $89,398[10] |
| La Mesa RV | Used 2025 Arc 18C | Port St. Lucie, FL / GP228568 | 15,395 | $93,683[12] |
| Long View RV | Used 2025 Arc 18C | Windsor Locks, CT / 14783A | not exposed in retained page | $92,899[13] |
These asks run from $83,989 to $93,683, but a four-listing sample is not “market value.” The highest-mileage listing is not the cheapest, which shows why mileage alone cannot explain asking price. Compare title history, chassis year, options, solar, generator hours, battery age, service records, fees and warranty status. Verify that every page is still live before treating it as available inventory.
Recall and exact-identity checks
The NHTSA model-level query for 2026 Entegra Arc returned zero campaigns at the research timestamp.[14] That result means only that this exact make/model/year query returned no records. It does not certify a VIN as recall-free, include every chassis campaign automatically or guarantee the database will remain unchanged.
The same official query for 2025 Entegra Arc returned campaign 24V641000, covering certain 2023–2025 Arc and related motorhomes whose radio software could prevent the rearview image from displaying. The remedy is an over-the-air or dealer software update.[15] A 2026 coach is outside the model years listed in that result, but a vehicle advertised as a 2026 coach can sit on an earlier chassis.
That caveat is visible in sampled VINs. NHTSA's VIN decoder identifies the “S” VIN from a dealer-advertised 2026 coach as a 2025 Ram ProMaster chassis, while the “T” VIN from another advertised 2026 coach decodes as a 2026 chassis.[16][17] Record coach model year and chassis model year separately. The coach year determines Entegra literature; the chassis year drives Ram parts, emissions and many recall checks.
Before money changes hands:
- Run the complete VIN at NHTSA.gov/recalls on the day of inspection and again at delivery.
- Ask a Ram dealer to print open and completed chassis campaigns.
- Ask an Entegra dealer to print coach campaigns and service bulletins by coach serial and VIN.
- Match VIN and coach serial across title, federal certification label, window sticker and seller paperwork.
- Keep completion invoices; a model-level result does not prove a specific remedy was performed.
Model-specific pre-purchase inspection checklist
Identity, paperwork and price
- Match “2026 Entegra Coach Arc 18C” on the window sticker, coach label and sales order; reject a generic Arc description.
- Decode the chassis VIN and record coach year, chassis year, completion date and in-service date separately.[16][17]
- Confirm ProMaster 1500 versus CSA 2500 configuration, options, 200W solar presence and mandatory package.
- Obtain title, lien, theft, collision, odometer and warranty records. Check for rental or demonstrator use.
- Put every fee, incentive condition and promised repair in the signed buyer order.
Weight, chassis and road test
- Photograph GVWR, GAWR, tire and occupant/cargo labels; weigh the loaded van by axle.
- Inspect tires for correct size/load range, pressure, damage and DOT dates. Confirm the spare-tire plan.
- Compare both Hellwig helper-spring assemblies for bushings, spacers, bolt length, torque, cracks and contact marks.[7]
- Measure ride height left to right; inspect rear load concentration and evidence of bottoming.
- Drive at city and highway speeds. Check tracking, braking, crosswind response, rattles, steering-wheel position and all driver aids.
- Calculate towing margin from actual weight and GCWR rather than the receiver rating alone.
Water, bath and weather sealing
- Fill the fresh tank, pressurize city and pump systems, and inspect every visible joint before and after a road test.
- Operate the Aqua-Hot from each supported source; check for faults, leaks, exhaust or fuel odor and stable temperature.
- Run the SHOWERMI$ER, shower and exterior shower. Confirm pan slope, drain speed and curtain containment.
- Remove and reinstall the cassette. Test its seal, level indicator, vent and compartment latch.
- Fill and drain fresh and gray tanks; locate every low-point drain and winterization valve.
- Moisture-meter the roof perimeter, A/C opening, awning mounts, windows, rear doors, sliding door, bath and floor edges.
- Inspect tank heater pads, wiring, adhesion, exposed pipes and freeze history.
Electrical, generator and appliances
- Load-test both AGM batteries and record age, rested voltage and measured capacity.
- Verify charging separately from alternator, shore, generator and optional solar. Record controller output.
- Identify exactly which outlets the 1,000W inverter powers. Test GFCI and polarity.
- Start the generator cold, record hours, service history and output under A/C load.
- Run air conditioning, Aqua-Hot, refrigerator, microwave, induction cooktop, roof vent, TV, lights, USB ports and command center.
- Inspect cables, grounds, fuses, transfer equipment and any owner modifications for heat or abrasion.
- Verify the rear camera displays reliably and check the exact VIN for open campaigns.[15]
Living fit, structure and service access
- Convert the sofa repeatedly; inspect the frame, supports, upholstery, wiring and emergency procedure.
- Lie on the 54-by-72-inch bed together. Check seams, wall clearance, ventilation and bathroom access.
- Use the wet bath with curtain closed. Sit on the toilet and stand in shower posture before deciding it fits.
- Open every cabinet and appliance with sofa up and down. Find secure places for bedding and utility gear.
- Cycle rear and sliding doors, awning, screen, windows and shades. Inspect latches, seals and water tracks.
- Check smoke and carbon-monoxide alarms, extinguisher date and emergency exits.
- Hire an independent RV inspector and a Ram-capable mechanic. Make acceptance contingent on satisfactory results.
Alternatives
2026 Jayco Comet 18C: The closest comparison uses the same basic corporate platform and floorplan concept. RVCamping.info reviewed it separately on October 16, 2026. Compare price, trim, warranty handling and dealer access rather than assuming every installed component is identical.
Thor Scope 18M: Another short ProMaster-based Class B with a rear bath. Compare its bed arrangement, electrical equipment, tank access and current pricing.
Winnebago Solis Pocket: Better for buyers who prioritize flexible cargo and a simpler van over a full rear wet bath. Exact floorplan and toilet arrangements vary.
Roadtrek Chase: Worth comparing if twin-to-king sleeping and a larger-van feel matter more than the Arc's shortest possible footprint.
Used Pleasure-Way Lexor or Winnebago Travato: A used premium Class B may offer a stronger owner community or different electrical system at Arc-like asking prices. It will be longer and needs its own condition and recall review.
Method, limitations and disclosures
This is a desk-researched buyer guide. Manufacturer statements, attributed third-party reports, time-stamped listing observations and RVCamping.info analysis are kept separate. No seller, manufacturer, owner or reviewer was interviewed for this package.
The official 2026 page was recovered from a dated Internet Archive snapshot because Entegra's live family URL now serves 2027 material.[1][18] No 2026 manufacturer MSRP was visible there. The $145,050 figure is secondary.[2]
Dealer-displayed MSRPs vary by roughly $14,000.[4][5][6] Exact window-sticker evidence outranks every summary here.
Independent experience evidence is thin. One exact-family owner thread concerns an earlier coach and one specific suspension event; the tour and editorial article are not long-term owner reports.[7][8][9] No reliability rate can be inferred.
The market snapshot records asking prices, not transactions. The three new records include one sold unit and one anti-bot-blocked page retained through indexed evidence.[4][6]
Used samples are all 2025 coaches, from four sellers, with one page lacking mileage.[10][11][12]
Long View supplied the fourth used ask but not mileage in the retained page.[13]
An exact Wikimedia Commons search for “2026 Entegra Arc 18C” returned no results.[19] Manufacturer, dealer, marketplace and YouTube images were rejected because no explicit license allowing commercial editorial reuse was established. The lead image is an original 1600-by-900 non-photorealistic buyer-check diagram. It is generic, logo-free, not to scale and does not claim to show the exact body or floorplan.
