2026 Panoramic G review: a bright, fixed-bed van with price and payload homework
The 2026 Panoramic G keeps its rear bed made and carries a serious lithium system, but buyers need exact-unit payload, width, chassis-year and price answers.

Bottom line
The 2026 Panoramic G makes a persuasive case for couples who dislike rebuilding their bed every night. Its 74-by-57-inch permanent rear mattress leaves the front dinette usable, while the space below the bed provides a 49-by-35.5-by-28-inch cargo bay. The coach also carries 35 gallons of fresh water, a 16-gallon black tank, 600 Ah of lithium capacity, 400 watts of solar and a 3,000-watt inverter.[1][2]
That combination is more practical than the usual feature-counting suggests. One traveler can sleep while the other uses the table. Bedding can stay in place. Folding chairs and utility gear have a defined home. The gasoline Truma Combi-G supplies heat and hot water from the chassis fuel tank, so the G deletes propane, adds a dual induction cooktop and restores an underbody spare tire.[1]
The buying decision still needs work. Panoramic does not publish a 2026 starting MSRP on the model page; it directs shoppers to ask for a current quote.[1]
Three sampled Canadian dealer units all showed a dealer MSRP of CAD $250,980 and an advertised price of CAD $222,980, but all came from the same dealer group.[4][5][6]
The official page and official brochure also conflict on exterior width, and neither publishes a usable payload figure.[1][2]
Best fit: one or two travelers who value a made-up bed, large windows, real under-bed cargo, a gasoline-only coach system and a substantial lithium bank more than AWD or a long north-south bed.
Skip it if: either sleeper needs more than 74 inches of bed length, you want twin beds, a dry bath, AWD, a published factory payload, a broad used-G market or an inexpensive dealer network close to home.
Official 2026 specifications
The figures below apply to the 2026 Panoramic G Base. The year-marked brochure and current product page were retrieved October 22, 2026. The product page appears to be rolling content, so the exact vehicle's window sticker, certification labels, option sheet and manuals remain the final authority.[1][2]

Panoramic calls the coach suitable for hot and cold conditions and describes composite insulation and thermal-leak testing.[1][2] That is a manufacturer claim, not proof that every pipe, drain, valve and tank can remain wet in a particular winter temperature. Obtain written operating limits and winterization instructions before treating it as a four-season water system.
Payload cannot be settled from the brochure
The official sources do not publish GVWR, unloaded vehicle weight, occupant-and-cargo capacity or axle ratings for the completed 2026 G. RVUSA's secondary record lists 1,370 pounds of payload, but that number is not a substitute for the yellow occupant-and-cargo label on a configured coach.[11] Batteries, water, passengers, dealer accessories, food and a loaded cargo bay consume capacity quickly. Photograph the federal labels and weigh the ready-to-travel van by axle.
The sampled U.S. VIN illustrates another identity problem. A dealer advertised VIN 3C6MRVJG4SE525998 as a 2026 Panoramic coach, while NHTSA's decoder identifies a 2025 Ram ProMaster 3500 cargo-van chassis and warns that decoded model year may need confirmation.[7][18] Coach year and chassis year are allowed to differ. Record both because Panoramic literature follows the coach year, while Ram parts, service and many recalls follow the chassis VIN.
The floorplan in daily use
The G keeps two spaces available at once: a front dinette and a rear bed. The cab seats swivel toward a bench and movable table, and the table can drop to form a small secondary bed.[1][2] For a couple on different schedules, that separation is the floorplan's strongest argument. It also means the primary bed is only 57 inches wide and runs across the van.
Try the bed before discussing cabinetry or upholstery. A 74-inch mattress leaves little reserve for a tall sleeper, pillows or a wall-side foot position. An owner of the related Panoramic Classic, which shares the 74-by-57-inch layout, reported that the bed was slightly short at 5 feet 11 inches when sleeping on his stomach.[8] That experience is relevant to fit, not proof that another person will be uncomfortable.
The bed flips up and a partition can be removed for oversized cargo, according to Panoramic.[1] That flexibility does not make the van a secured bike hauler by itself. Check tie-down points, sharp edges, battery and plumbing protection, rear-door clearance, and whether wet gear can be isolated from bedding. Bring the actual largest item you expect to carry.
The wet bath has tambour-style doors, a molded pan, porcelain toilet, curtain and thermostatic shower control, but no separate bathroom sink.[1][2] The nearby galley sink handles that job. The same Classic owner liked being able to close the bath door and found the wraparound curtain kept the toilet and walls dry.[8] Sit on the toilet, stand in shower posture, deploy the curtain and test drainage. Showroom openness can disappear once the doors and curtain are in use.
The kitchen has a 5.3-cubic-foot refrigerator, deep sink, sliding pantry and 1,800-watt dual induction surface.[1] The large lithium bank makes induction sensible, but 600 Ah is a capacity label rather than a runtime promise. Ask which loads the inverter serves, how the system limits simultaneous cooking and air-conditioning, and how quickly the alternator and solar can replace energy under real conditions. Run both induction zones, refrigerator and A/C while watching inverter load and battery state.
Large windows and the skylight make the interior bright, but glass also affects privacy and heat transfer. Inspect every shade, latch, screen and seal. Sit inside on a sunny afternoon with shades arranged as you would actually use them. A climate claim should survive that simple test.
What independent owners and reviewers report
Exact 2026 G ownership evidence is thin. Hike'n RV published an exact-model “Panoramic G Camper Van: Review & Tour” and a G-versus-GL comparison, useful for seeing the layout and the differences between models.[10] RVCamping.info could not retrieve the transcript from the research environment, so this review does not attribute detailed claims to the video. No thumbnail or frame is reused.
The strongest long-use source covers the closely related Panoramic Classic, not the gasoline-heated G. Grant of Wander-Filled Life wrote after more than a year, 15,000 miles, a six-week summer trip and a winter trip. He praised fit and finish, storage, the wet bath and the permanent-bed layout.[8] The shared shell and floorplan make those observations useful, but the Classic's propane system and battery configuration differ from the 2026 G.
That owner also identified checks worth carrying forward: a retractable step that could blow a five-amp fuse when obstructed, finicky cabinet latches, a short-feeling bed, road noise above 65 mph and occasional driver-assistance complaints on the ProMaster chassis.[8] These are one owner's experiences, not failure rates. The G restores a spare tire, so his Classic complaint about having to add an external carrier does not transfer to this floorplan.
An older Class B Forum owner described the Panoramic's build and garage favorably and said the fresh, gray and black capacities worked for that owner's boondocking routine. The same owner described modifying a black-tank flush connection and carrying a portable generator.[9] That coach predates the G's 600-Ah electrical and gasoline-heater package. It supports the usefulness of the basic layout, not a reliability judgment about 2026 equipment.
There is not enough independent exact-year evidence to estimate reliability, warranty turnaround, winter performance or battery runtime. The fair conclusion is narrower: owners of the shared layout value its storage and living separation, while bed length, step operation, latches and ProMaster electronics deserve direct inspection.
MSRP, purchase path and current new asking prices
PRICE SNAPSHOT: 2026-10-22 00:05 UTC. Prices below are asking prices, not completed-sale prices, appraisals or out-the-door offers. Canadian and U.S. dollars are not interchangeable. Inventory, exchange rates, taxes, fees and incentives can change immediately.
Panoramic's current G page does not state a 2026 base MSRP. Its price FAQ says model, options and color affect the price and directs shoppers to request a current quote.[1] A factory inventory page displayed a 2025 G at CAD $216,925 plus tax; that is useful historical context, not a 2026 MSRP.[3]
Woody's RV World displayed a dealer MSRP of CAD $250,980 and a CAD $222,980 asking price on three separate 2026 G records. GST and financing costs were excluded.[4][5][6]
| Seller | Exact unit | Location | Advertised ask | Dealer-displayed MSRP / notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Woody's RV World | 2026 Panoramic G, stock 51044 | Calgary, Alberta | CAD $222,980 | CAD $250,980; 298 km; listed Black Edition equipment[4] |
| Woody's RV World | 2026 Panoramic Model G, stock 51599 | Calgary, Alberta | CAD $222,980 | CAD $250,980; Pine interior; exact G tank figures[5] |
| Woody's RV World | 2026 Panoramic G, stock 51727 | Calgary, Alberta | CAD $222,980 | CAD $250,980; separate stock record[6] |
This is three-unit evidence but only one dealer group and one advertised price. It is not a national range. For U.S. shoppers, NIRVC had a sold 2026 Panoramic record with G equipment, 738 miles and VIN 3C6MRVJG4SE525998, but the public page hid the price and did not label the trim cleanly enough to treat it as a current exact-G price sample.[7]
Purchase paths include a factory appointment in Chambly, Quebec or Simi Valley, California, Panoramic events, and available dealers.[1] Ask for an itemized quote showing currency, base coach, options, freight, import or provincial/state charges, preparation, documentation, taxes, title, registration, trade allowance and financing conditions. Require the window sticker and installed-equipment list for the exact VIN.
Used-market snapshot: no exact used G sample found
No live numeric used Panoramic G listing was found in the exact-model searches retained for this review. The G is newer and sellers often label older coaches only as Panoramic, Classic or GL. Inventing an exact-G market from those coaches would be more misleading than reporting the gap.
Three live used Panoramic-family listings provide loose context only. They are not G comparables and must not be averaged into a G value.
| Seller / marketplace | Related unit, not a G | Location | Mileage | Ask at snapshot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| National Indoor RV Centers | Used 2022 Panoramic, stock 14014CC | Las Vegas, Nevada | 45,139 | USD $104,999[12] |
| PleasureLand RV | Used 2024 Panoramic Classic, stock 623-26B | Shakopee, Minnesota | 16,485 | USD $123,499 sale price; USD $119,999 finance price[13] |
| Fraserway RV | Used 2022 Panoramic GL, stock 83653A | Abbotsford, British Columbia | 34,468 as displayed | CAD $169,999[14] |
The Fraserway page labels the field “Miles,” although a Canadian listing may create unit ambiguity; verify the odometer and units from the dash and signed disclosure.[14] These three asks span two currencies, three model labels and different equipment. They are evidence of Panoramic-family availability at one moment, not market value, a depreciation curve or evidence that an exact G was available.
For a used G, search by model name and VIN, then ask Panoramic to verify the serial number and original build. Price comparisons need the same currency, heater, battery capacity, solar, options, chassis year, mileage and condition.
Recall, VIN and model-year checks
Three Ram ProMaster campaigns may matter depending on the exact chassis VIN and build date. NHTSA campaign 26V621 / Ram 92D covers certain 2022–2026 ProMaster 3500 vans for possible water intrusion and corrosion in electric-power-steering wiring; the report says affected vehicles can lose steering assist.[15] Campaign 26V531 / Ram 78D covers some 2026 ProMasters whose rearview image may fail to display and calls for a software update.[16] Campaign 25V720 / Ram 67C, B3C or C9C concerns certain 2018–2026 ProMaster fleet-build cooling-fan circuits that may overheat.[17]
Those model-level reports do not prove that a particular Panoramic G is included or that a remedy remains open. Run the full 17-character chassis VIN at NHTSA's recall lookup, ask a Ram dealer for open and completed campaigns, and ask Panoramic for coach campaigns or service bulletins by coach serial.[19]
Match the VIN and coach serial across the title, federal certification label, Panoramic data plate, window sticker and buyer order. Record coach model year, chassis model year, build date and first in-service date separately. Repeat the VIN check at inspection and delivery because recall records change.
Model-specific pre-purchase inspection checklist
Identity, weight and road test
- Match “2026 Panoramic G Base” on the build sheet, coach label and sales order; do not accept a generic “Panoramic” description.
- Decode the VIN and record both years. Confirm Ram ProMaster 3500, gasoline V6 and front-wheel drive.[18]
- Photograph GVWR, GAWR, tire and occupant-and-cargo labels. Weigh the loaded van by axle.
- Inspect tires, full-size spare, jack, carrier and safe lift points. Check DOT dates and load ratings.
- Drive at city and highway speeds. Test tracking, braking, steering assist, camera, crosswind response, rattles and driver aids.
- Check campaigns 26V621, 26V531 and 25V720 by VIN; retain completion invoices.[15][16][17]
Coach systems and weather sealing
- Test every charging source separately: alternator, shore power and both solar panels. Record battery brand, date, balance, fault history and measured capacity.
- Run the inverter under induction and A/C loads. Identify which outlets work off-grid and how load shedding behaves.
- Operate the Truma Combi-G on gasoline and each supported electric mode. Inspect fuel line, exhaust, fault log, service access and hot-water stability.
- Fill, pressurize and drain all water systems. Inspect the 35-, 24- and 16-gallon tank installations, low points and winterization valves.
- Use the shower with curtain deployed. Check thermostatic control, pan slope, drain speed, door tracks, toilet seal and ventilation.
- Moisture-meter the roof perimeter, A/C, skylight, solar mounts, awning, windows, rear doors, sliding door, bath and floor edges.
- Ask for written cold-weather limits. Inspect exposed drains and lines rather than relying on “extreme climate” language.
Living fit, cargo and records
- Lie on the 74-by-57-inch mattress together. Check wall contact, ventilation, night access and the effort needed to lift the bed.
- Convert the dinette bed, verify every claimed travel belt and locate the emergency exits.
- Load intended bikes, chairs and bins. Inspect restraint points and protection around plumbing and batteries.
- Cycle the retractable step while unobstructed; inspect its fuse, wiring, interlock and manual procedure.[8]
- Open every drawer and latch after the road test. Look for loosening, rub marks and water tracks.
- Run refrigerator, both induction zones, A/C, lights, screens, shades, fans, outlets, alarms and entertainment equipment.
- Obtain title, lien, theft, collision, odometer, warranty and maintenance records. Check for rental or demonstrator use.
- Hire an independent RV inspector and a Ram-capable mechanic. Make acceptance contingent on satisfactory written results.
Alternatives
Panoramic Classic: The closest layout match keeps propane for cooking and heat. Compare battery specification, spare-tire arrangement and total installed price rather than treating Classic and G as trim names.
Panoramic GL: Better for buyers who prefer longitudinal sleeping and different cargo geometry. The G-versus-GL walkthrough is useful before scheduling an in-person fit test.[10]
Airstream Rangeline: Another ProMaster-based front-lounge/rear-bed idea with broader brand visibility. Compare actual payload, electrical capacity, bath arrangement and dealer support.
Pleasure-Way Lexor TS: A polished ProMaster alternative with a rear power-sofa bed. It gives up the G's always-made permanent bed but may offer easier U.S. shopping and used inventory.
Winnebago Travato 59K: Worth trying if twin beds and a larger owner community matter more than the Panoramic's wide permanent mattress and cargo bay.
Method, limitations and disclosures
This is desk research, not a road test. Manufacturer specifications and claims, attributed independent experience, time-stamped listings and RVCamping.info analysis are separated throughout. No seller, owner, manufacturer or reviewer was interviewed for this package.
The official brochure is marked 2026, but the live model page is rolling content.[1][2]
The width conflict, horsepower difference between brochure and sampled VIN decode, and absent official payload cannot be settled without exact-unit paperwork.[1][2][18]
Independent evidence is limited. The long-term owner review and forum posts concern related Classic-era coaches, while the exact G videos were used only as visual context because a transcript could not be retrieved.[8][9][10] No defect rate or 2026 reliability conclusion is offered.
The new sample contains three distinct units from one Canadian dealer group at one price.[4][5][6]
The manufacturer does not publish a 2026 base MSRP, and CAD prices must not be read as USD.[1]
No exact used G with a numeric ask was found. The three used rows are explicitly labeled family context, span two currencies and are not valuation inputs.[12][13][14]
An exact Wikimedia Commons search and broader rights searches did not establish a photograph of the exact 2026 Panoramic G under a license permitting commercial editorial reuse.[20] Manufacturer, dealer, marketplace and YouTube visuals were rejected. The lead image is an original 1600-by-900 non-photorealistic buyer-check diagram; it is generic, logo-free, not to scale and does not claim to show the exact body or floorplan.
There are no affiliate links in this review. Ordinary manufacturer, dealer, marketplace, federal and video links are included so readers can inspect the evidence and purchase paths. Editorial conclusions were not influenced by compensation.Sources
